West Coast Creators Blog Hop

Hey All, So we have joined a Blog Hop with some of our fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. Our first Challenge was to feature different ways to use the BIG SHOT as it is this months feature deal with Stampin' Up!

Our first example is Double Embossing. For this technique we cut an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of SOFT SKY paper in to four pieces.
Photo 1 - we ran the first piece through the BIG SHOT using the CLOUDY DAY Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Discontinued).
Photo 2 - Once it was embossed we sponged the paper with SOFT SKY ink.
Photo 3 - we then ran the already embossed and inked paper through the Big Shot again using the DECORATIVE DOTS Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Discontinued).
Photo 4 - we then sponged the paper again with SOFT SKY ink and ISLAND INDIGO ink around the edges.

Our next example is using the FRAMELITS DIES  that coordinate with Stampin' Up! stamps.
For this project we use WHISPER WHITE Cardstock for the base, COASTAL CABANA and HELLO HONEY paper and inks to coordinate with the LULLABY DSP. Stamp set used was SOMETHING FOR BABY with coordinating BABY'S FIRST Framelits Dies. We added Stampin' UP! Dimensionals to 'pop' our project off the page!

For this Project we used EMBOSSLITS. This card is done using WISTERIA WONDER Cardstock to create the base and matted with WHISPER WHITE Cardstock. Stamped on the white is the 'LOVE' image from the SEASONALLY SCATTERED stamp set (Available on August 28 from the Holiday Catalog). Then in BLUSHING BRIDE Cardstock we used the BEAUTIFUL WINGS EMBOSSLITS folder to create the butterflies. We then added the WISTERIA WONDER RUFFLED RIBBON (Discontinued) and the PEARLS. The butterflies were again 'popped' off the page using the Stampin' UP! dimensionals.

We apologize for using Discontinued Items but our stock is still low and we are currently working on building up what we have to create more beautiful projects.

All the current products can be ordered from your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, don't have a demonstrator... feel free to contact us today!

Thank you for visiting our blog and please feel free to jump forward or backwards to the next blogs to see some more awesome projects that our amazing Stampin' UP! friends have created!
